La Via delle Biciclette

The location was perfect and my room was enormous with a great air conditioning unit. The breakfast was phenomenal and Manlio was such a lovely host. I had a perfect stay and would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone in Palermo!

The location was perfect - near all the main sights and the railway station. Excellent breakfast - huge filled croissants and fresh fruit/jams - unfortunately we were unable to take breakfast every day due to early starts, but Manlio left some food for us to take on those days. Manlio was very helpful when we arrived and in answering questions via WhatsApp during our stay.

Bit of a nuisance having the private bathroom separated from the room, but it was a lovely, large bathroom with all the facilities we needed.

palazzo like incredible building (1700) with modern finishes in central location at a great price with a gracious, communicative host.

Loved my stay at La Via delle Biciclette. My triple room was the one pictured, large, very clean, and had the en suite bathroom with expectedly small shower. The only other room has a private bathroom down a hallway. Breakfast was lovely with fresh squeezed orange juice, fruit, pastries, yoghurt, musli, and cold cuts with toast offered. And cappuccino. Manlio was very helpful with advice about sights and restaurants. Know that to enjoy this unique place you must climb about 64 steps; there is no lift. And you must arrange a time to meet Manlio at the outside door to be let in, so very late or early morning arrival could be challenging.

Lots of stairs, but then it was a palazzo built in 1700.

Charming and accessible BnB close to the train station and the sights and sounds of Palermo. The room was cosy and comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and spacious, and the breakfast was outstanding.

Lots of steps to the room, with no railing. Not great for the unfit or with heavy luggage. Although the owner was super helpful in bringing the bags up.

The apartments in the old town, 7-minute walk from the Central Station . It was very convenient for me because I came to Palermo from Catania by bus. The location is quiet, there are no bars and cafes near the house but great places can be reached in 2-3 minutes. The apartments are perfectly clean. The rooms and all areas are decorated in very good taste. This place is a real pleasure to stay in. The breakfast is excellent. And most importantly, the wonderful host Manlio, who told me a lot about Sicily and gave great recommendations for museums, interesting places in the city and cafes.
