Green Cottage Chamarel

Green cottage is very spacious, in an idyllic position within the park. Great views of the valley. There is everything you could possibly need for an amazing stay. The surrounding garden is beautiful, with a pool further down the path. If you choose not to cook in the well equipped kitchen, it’s in a good location for restaurants, but will need transport. Watching the fruit bats from the park’s waterfall (short drive) is amazing, but they can be seen from the garden. Raymond ensures you have an amazing stay.

Magical Stay in Nature A great find, the cottage is right in the middle of the Seven Coloured Earth park—a unique and peaceful location. Super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The views were amazing, and we loved being surrounded by nature. The host was friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Perfect spot to relax and explore Chamarel. We'd definitely come back!

Where do I start! This place is a little paradise on earth. The host's attention to tiny detail is phenomenal. His welcome is truly remarkable. Everything to make ypur stay a memorable one is there. The cottage is spotless clean. The views are breathtaking. Supplies are there, and we liked the concept of "take some, put something back." There's tea, coffee, sugar, and water and much more. Tablets for dishwasher and detergents for washing machine are provided. It's in a quiet place in the park with a parking space for the car. At the end of our short stay, there was even a safe place to keep our luggage safely. We have stayed in many places, being cottages, hotels, or apartments around the world, but this has been the best stay by far. It's one of a kind. Highly recommended

Beautiful house with incredible views and stylish interior. A wonderfully peaceful spot and we enjoyed sitting around the fireplace in the evening. The owner was so welcoming and the cottage had everything we could need for our stay. A special place and we feel so lucky to have stayed at Green Cottage.

Superb wonderful villa that is worth to experience!!! Amazing view on the mountains and a very nice garden. Also a lovely garden/mountain view from one of the bedrooms. It’s a property where you would like to rest the whole day without going anywhere! And you have all you might need for your comfy stay. The host treated us very nice. It was so kind from his side! The villa is definitely highly recommended! P.S. Soon there will be also a swimming pool :)

The way to the villa after the main road is much easier reachable by 4x4 car or at least an automatic model but that didn’t spoil our stay :)

The cottage is located on the slope of a hill with a magnificent view of the highest mountain in Mauritius. Perfect location for nature lovers and hikers. A peaceful retreat and escapism into a fairytale like landscape where time stops and bliss prevails. A cottage with high end facilities and amenities, designed with elegance. Warm welcome and hospitality from the owner and friendly staff attending to customers needs.

Magnificent place with great view. Amazing garten and very nice atmosphere in the cottage. Yannick, the guy who checked us in, is very nice and very helpful! You have everything you need - iron, washing machine, soaps, shampoo, towels for the beach, etc.

The road is a bit tricky when it rains because there is a lot of mud. But driving veeeeery slow helps a lot!

The cottage is extraordinary. You are in the middle of a jungle. Our host Raymond was very attentive and took care of the well-being of his guests down to the smallest detail. The house is equipped with everything you could wish. A very good kitchen with all the utensils you need for a successful cooking

Amazing place, with incredible view - we enjoy every moment being there ! But you need to be ready drive very very deep in to the mountains- on almost off road . Takes around 20 min to get to the nearest shop. Property very nice vintage inspired ! Enough of towels for shoes and beach !

The owner act like he make for us an a favor all the time … feels like he want us to appreciate him to be there . But it definitely doesn’t spoil all impressions!
