Santa Croce Apartments

Apartment was spacious.

The check-in was way too complicated. First, I had to sign up to a platform to sign a complicated contract. After that, they requested a video call for verification. And finally, I had to install an app for the smart lock which was annoying to use. The shower wasn't great, as the drain was clogged. Basic things such as shampoo were missing.

The apartment is excellent: well located in a quiet neighborhood but very closed to the center, spacious and comfortable. Also, fully equipped with everything you could need. An special mention to Daria, she has been really kind and has taken care of everything to ensure we could enjoy this beautiful city. Grazie mille.

It was perfect!

The apartment was really nice, clean and spacious. The check in and check out process was easy and they also allowed us to check out later as we had an afternoon flight. The location is very good, in a quiet area but also 15minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore. Many bars and trattorias around

The apartment was located on the third floor with no lift, which can be hard when you have a baby and a stroller. However the owner had informed us about it and despite the extra effort we really enjoyed our stay there

The best is having two bathrooms. Two separate rooms with two bathrooms, love it!

Located close to restaurants and bars, it is away from the business precinct but not too far to walk to the town square. The person who gave us access was very helpful, with good communication before our arrival and accommodated our request for arrival.

Owner needs to supply a slip mat for the bath to eliminate the risk of slipping when stepping into the bath

The apartment was so spacious, 2 seperate bedrooms with own bathroom..great kitchen facilities, amazing shower and bath and very quiet.

As I am elderly I found the stairs to level 3 a challenge. The staff were very obliging to carry bags up, but daily using the stairs was challenging. A younger person would have no problems. (I'm 73yo lady)

If you are arriving late in the evening with the intention of getting a good night's sleep after your travels, don't bother. It was 36 degrees the day we arrived and the air-conditioning was off. It was like a sauna in the apartment and took 2 hours to cool down. My son had to sleep on the sofa as it was far too hot in his room. When I questioned this I was told they couldn't possibly keep it on as they didn't know when we'd be arriving. I wonder what they do in the winter. Also, charged £70 for cleaning (before we arrived) which is not mentioned in the details. It's fine to charge for cleaning but be upfront about it. They do not have car parking, you have to use a public car park 12 minutes' walk away and no discounts. I filtered for accommodation with parking and this property appeared, I think you should remove this from your details as it's misleading. We've stayed in lots of properties in Italy and this is the first time this has happened to us. Really disappointed.
