Ramada by Wyndham Juneau

The location was great. We were close enough to walk downtown, yet far enough away from the cruise tourists. The girls at the front desk were always pleasant and anything we needed, they were very helpful. Not sure if the Ramada has anything to do with the food, but that was excellent.

We were placed downstairs which had an awful smell and the facilities need to be greatly updated!! The laundry room was nasty and very unclean.

The beds were very comfortable and the staff was nice and friendly.

The shower head was a low-pressure water-saver model. It was never hot at all, which made for a horrible showering experience. Also, the room was really hot with no way to cool it down.

The location in Downtown Juneau was great.

My room was FILTHY. There was other people’s hair in the bathroom, debris on the windowsill, and its and bits all over the floor. Whoever dusted gave a pass over the middle of dresser and table tops, and left dust along the edges and corners. Bedside lamps were dusty. Thankfully the bed was clean. The shower was little more than a pipe sticking out of the wall. I’ve had nicer showers in campgrounds! My friends were down on the ground floor, and there was no elevator from the lobby down to their level. Since a trip to Alaska, usually includes packing hiking shoes, rain, gear, and other bulky gear, this is a serious short coming. For what you get, this place is ridiculously overpriced.

Location of the hotel was great. Desk staff were very nice but always seemed disorganized.
