A nice place to stay that is downtown and within walking distance to the area. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The free shuttle service to the airport is a nice perk.

It’s old but has charm. The water is a bit funny in the shower but it’s hot. Definitely okay for a night or two as the location is great for exploring central Ketchikan

Our room, 217, has worn out carpet A subpar mattress Home Depot fixtures in the bathroom (in contrast w room and mirror) Ridiculous black towels that were more like sham-wow car cleaning cloths than hotel towels Chinese toilet paper Any character that a historic building has was completely ruined by what I listed. And more. Can’t recommend

This hotel sits right at downtown. It's convenient to walk over to shops. Staffs are super nice and friendly. The only downside is the heater in the room. It's the old style steam heater. On my first night, it ran so loud all night that I could not sleep. The gurgling noise of the heater is terrible. The second night, after learning how to turn it off, I could sleep. I wish the hotel upgrade this feature. It looks like that thing has been there for at least 40 years.
