Staff friendliness Breakfast Comfort of room

Internet was poor on this occasion - very difficult to get anything once connected. TV wouldn't switch on - I suspect dead batteries in the remote. Although I didn't intend to watch much TV this was still a pain.

I stayed here by myself for Creamfields festival, and was amazed at everything The Kings Head provided! All the staff were so lovely and welcoming and the room was very modern and comfortable too. Out of everywhere I’ve stayed, I had one of the best sleeps here. Not only because the bed was super comfortable but also after a certain time they lock the whole building (pub and hotel), and you have to knock to come in, which for me after Creamfields felt extremely safe and a thoughtful thing to do. Moreso, the breakfast was 10/10! I had a full English and ate everything on my plate, even though it was massive! I would honestly go back for the breakfast, very very satisfied! Overall, I had a wonderful stay here, feeling the safest I could have, sleeping wonderfully and eating well.

Breakfast excellent, would love some fresh fruit eg apple

The carpet was not clean and old . Bathroom needs to be replaced. The shower was not clean and did not work well.
