Eagle Nest Fly Shack & Lodge

Close to nearby ski resorts. Beautiful mountain views and lake. Clean and spacious room. Small problems : Door is lack of internal security bar.

The couches and beds were comfortable, it was set up nicely

It could have been cheaper but otherwise I enjoyed the stay

it was a very cute place and quite a bit bigger than expected.

The only thing I could suggest is assigned parking spaces for the individual rooms.

Good stay. Couple things, it was not well stocked with certain items. No paper towels. Not enough pans no big ones. Grill was dirty and had to clean before use and no grill brush so had to bring inside to clean in sink. The electric water kettle was burnt on bottom where some past genius put on the stove which made it unusable. Wished it had a full size coffee pot. Could of used pot holders too. These were nit picks but things to mention.

The place was great and the view was amazing. A couple of things that could make the place even better: hangers in the closet and a coat rack or hooks by the door for coats/jackets. A little rearranging in the living area could make plenty of room for another electric fireplace in that area as well. The one in the bedroom was awesome! We loved the keurig with lots of coffee. The place was quiet and peaceful and response time to questions was very quick. Thank you for a great stay!

So peaceful and quiet exactly what we were needing, a hop skip and jump away from Red River for our snowboarding trip

Room was cozy. New carpeting!!! Staff was nice. Ski rental across the street was great. Only 15 minutes to Angel Fire and way less expensive. Great views. Right across the street from the lake.

Old food in my refrigerator. Bed was very loud.
