Top of the Bank Apartment

Brilliant location in centre of Ambleside. Spotlessly clean. Great facilities. Comfy bed. Loved the Alexa! Car parking space is a real bonus.

Fewer steps up from the car parking would have been better

Good location with immediate access to shops and restaurants.

Allocated car park space was very small and was often taken by other people so we had to pay to park elsewhere. The adjacent kebab shop had noisy air conditioning on 24/7 that was audible in the bedroom which had single glazed poorly fitted windows.

Great location right in the centre of town, close to restaurants and bars. Beautiful little apartment that was perfect for my needs, with the bonus of a private parking space. The apartment was spotless, and very comfortable.

It could get a little noisy at night, being summertime and close to the town.

A fabulous quite spacious apartment, it looked newly furnished and decorated, and was immaculately clean with a very comfy sofa and bed and powerful shower. Plentiful crockery etc in the kitchen. Stunning views from the living area and bedroom and a great location in the centre of Ambleside with parking. Good communication from the Agents too. Oh and we had fun with Alexa! We walked straight from the door over Loughrigg Fell and Tarn to Elterwater and on the Coffin Trail to Grasmere and left the car where it was. Highly recommend Es Tapas and the Apple Pie bakery. We loved Top Of The Bank and happily recommend it.

3 flights of stairs from the car or 2 from the main entrance were a slog after a day's walking, but the views more than compensated!

only 1 key: extremely inconvenient! TV unusable: only Sky programs costing 10 pounds were available. Alexa was annoying except for check-in/out: the printed materials were easier to look through and more useful.

The owners sent a link to a web page with loads of brilliant info about the apartment, facilities and local area, we have stayed in lots of rental properties and this was the best communication by far. The location was as central as you could get was really clean, quiet, a good shower and comfy bed.

The only super small point is there could have been some shampoo and soap, everywhere else we have stayed this seems standard.

Loved the location, views and it was a very clean comfortable apartment.
