The location, cleanliness, the views, the shower, the quietness and carparking.

Could do with a hairdryer.

Good decor in the apartment, nice layout and good shower room. The water utility company had a problem with water pressure the day after we arrived - Craig found out what was wrong and kept us up to date even though he was on holiday himself in Wales - very good customer service.

These are not major points but would improve the stay if addressed: - The pillows were lumpy and the duvet cover was for a larger duvet than was in it - Tap in the kitchen was loose - TV speaker distorts horribly

The property was clean, excellent size and in a central location for Ambleside. Good shower and came with a parking space. Tesco express next door to buy food.

It wasn’t the easiest to find and someone from another flat was in our parking space which hid the sign making it harder to spot. The central location also means you’ll get noise from neighbouring pubs when they empty their glass bottles into the recycling throughout the night. I don’t think it went on past midnight.

Great location, roomy and comfortable apartment - very well equipped. Fabulous views of surrounding fells as it's 3 storeys up and looks out across the roofs of lower buildings.

Only slight issue is that being 3 storeys up, there are a lot if fairly steep steps. Definitely worth the climb, but maybe avoid if you have respiratory or mobility issues.

We had stayed here in June and found it so cosy and comfortable with everything we needed. The location was great with lovely walks straight from the apartment or a short drive away. We will definitely come back again.

The only thing we didn't like was climbing three flights of stairs with our luggage and food supplies but once it's done you can sit back and enjoy the home comforts with a lovely view.

It was great stay of us. Everything was very clean and we felt comfortable. Furniture were white that we liked. We could enjoy cooking and hiking. There was Tesco besides this hotel so it was very easy to cook. Also, we bought Chocolate because it was a chocolate store at the same building. We arrived at Windermere 8:30 pm so we rode a taxi. The entrance was the other side of the hotel.
