Mount House Hotel Apartment

Very comfortable bed, good ventilator, large & very clean bathroom, & a big plus for the balcony with a stunning view into the green. The staff was very friendly and helpful. 5min walk to the beach and the main road. Definetly recommendable for everyone visiting Dickwella!

The hotel owner was very helpful, friendly and gave us a free upgrade. You can buy water from him in the hotel for the same price as in the shops, so you don't have to lug water bottles around. The city and the beach are within easy walking distance.

We had booked 1 apartment for 4 persons. One after another thing did not work; AC, water heating, electricity gone etc. Due to that we had to switch apartment/rooms 3 times. We were lucky to be the only guests so we could switch. We ended up with 1 apartment for each couple wich was really good value for the money .

A Dream Vacation – Highly Recommend! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed. The caretaker (Bandula) and the owners (Mrs. Manjula & Mr.Nishantha) was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The check-in process was smooth, and our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a nice Seaview. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking view from our balcony – enjoying the beauty Dickwella with a morning coffee and the apartment has its own kitchen with everything you need. Location-wise, it was perfect – close enough (walking distance) to major attractions like Hirikatiya Beach, Pehebiya Beach, Hummanaya and Waurukannala temple yet peaceful enough for a relaxing getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and luxury!

A wonderful pace to stay. Excellent hosts Bandula and Manjula went over and beyond to make sure we had all we needed. A short walk to Pembeniya Beach- 7 minutes. Gorgeous! Playful moneys and squirrels in the yard! The apartment was quiet and we had an enjoyable stay. Comfortable beds- They even got us a microwave for use! Thank you and We hope to return.
