Deluxe Chevron Renaissance

It took a long time for the management company to come down and provide the keys. Had to hand over credit card details aa they provided a list of expectations with how to leave the room and that we would be charged for certain things happening (e.g. excessive handprints on the windows)

Good facilities, and location. Very helpful staff when needed. The room was still a nice outlay and accommodated all 8 of us quite nicely. All appliances were satisfactory. It was also really nice for both families to hang out in the room playing card games. Also a very good view of the new year’s fireworks display.

The two extra fold out beds were very uncomfortable. We had to double up the mattresses on one of them for one teenager, and the other teenager just slept on the couch. We didn’t bother complaining at the time as we were able to make it work, and both teenagers were happy in the end. But would be nice for future guests to have a slightly thicker mattress for the fold out beds. Some of the cleaning and maintenance wasn’t 100%. There were cherry pips and it was quite dusty under the two beds in one room. There was rubbish and it was pretty dusty in behind and under the couch in the lounge. Washing machine didn’t work properly, it left half the clothes still dry.

A sticker saying my car will be towed , a day before check out .

The property facilities were good eg pool parking etc

The apartment was very shabby and in need of a renovation . 5 light bulbs missing , tumble drying faulty and overheating with one sheet in it . Door to the balcony was almost impossible to open . Non stick on fry pan was missing half its coating which is a health risk . Tap to the main bath was broken . Blinds had missing and broken cords , child safety risk . Towels not supplied for the number of people in the unit . Microwave had rust on the door and was arcing . Couches and dinning chairs were filthy. Some of the bedding and towels supplied were stained or torn . Sheets on some beds were too small for the bed size . There was mould on one of the curtains in one bed room . The carpet though-out was badly stained and torn . The general state of the unit was appalling for the price that was charged . To say we were all disappointed is an understatement .
