Naxian On The Beach - Adults Only

Overall a great location. Staff is helpful but if you are used to the faster pace of the US you won’t find that here. It is a laid back vibe. Only concern was the amount of cats, all over the area. Not really anything they could do as all open air. Just fyi.

LOOVED our time at Naxian on the Beach. Every question was met with "yes, of course." Very Tulum vibe but relaxed and pampered. Enough free water, delicious breakfast included and served any time you request with an extensive menu to chose from. Loved Tortuga for dinner so much that we cancelled another reservation to explore the menu again a second night. Easy to get food and drinks on your front row bed on the beach. Most stunning sunsets! No need to get in the private plunge pools (not really big enough for a grown man anyways). AC so strong that they could use a little more blanket to really get cozy at night. Rooms are stylish and clean. Staff A+ and so nice and helpful. No real check in office but none needed. Had a staff member rush out to the cab immediately to help with the bags, sat down in the restaurant to go over details, wishes, etc. You guys are amazing! Best ice cream two doors down and a great little market next to that for any needs.

We loved this hotel for many reasons. Staff was courteous and were quick to answer all our questions. Rooms were fine. Layout was not well thought out but overall we were not unhappy. The rooms did have a musty smell but not unbearable. There is no concierge except for a person at the bar to assist you with your needs. At first we thought that was odd however it really worked out fine. A big plus for us was that the first row chairs at the beach were reserved for guests. We never felt the need to rush in the morning which was great. Staff at beach were excellent. Service was great and they were friendly. Location we felt was excellent. You need a car to get to town but we did not mind. Food at breakfast was also nice. Many great options. Overall we really enjoyed it despite the fact that it did not have a hotel feel.

Incomprehensible how they can charge these prices for this hotel. It is a total scam - please trust the negative comments you read about this hotel as they are true. It is more like an old badly maintained 2-star hotel. Please save your time and money and stay elsewhere. Pros: Location next to the beach and access to lounge chairs at the beach. Friendly welcome with welcome drink (although now we understand this is probably to compensate for all the other flaws of the hotel). Cons: The hotel itself and the rooms are old, dirty and not well maintained at all. So many things in our room were broken (shower head coming off, wires coming out of the wall), toilet lush not working properly. The room was not clean and bedsheets had stains on them. There were traces of dead insects on the wall which hadn’t been cleaned. I was grossed out to sleep in the room and very upset given the price we had paid. The balcony was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The “jacuzzi” was horrible - there was a thick layer of dirt and plenty of insects on top. We shortened our stay and left after one night because it was simply horrible. Even that was a huge negotiation and although staff was friendly, they did not manage it professionally. We thought it would be an upscale hotel given the high price - but it is nothing like that and please trust the negative comments. The worst hotel we’ve stayed at in Greece over the years.

The hotel is listed as shabby chic. It’s mostly shabby and not chic. Outside balcony spa tub was never cleaned and didn’t warm up. Steam shower panel was pulled off the wall but never fixed. At the price point we paid 487.5 euros per night and was NOT worth it. Hotel didn’t have a manager or front desk and run by young people who didn’t want any responsibility. What a way to run a business! I WOULD FIND ANOTHER HOTEL THAT CARED ABOUT ITS GUESTS

I have been trying for over 6 months to get a refund for a mini moon trip that had to be postponed during the pandemic. Having initially agreed to a credit voucher despite booking a flexible tariffe, Naixan continues to hold my money on their account. The reception and accounting team have acknowledged the request to process my refund on multiple occasions but never follow through on processing the transfer. As previously mentioned over telephone and email, I am left with no alternative but take this request to TripAdvisor. As a regular traveller, this is very disappointing service from a luxury operator.

Tulum meets Naxos at the Naxian on the Beach. We enjoyed an amazing stay at this bohemian but luxurious hotel. Small and discrete just metres from the amazing Plaka beach with front-row sun loungers available only to hotel guests. Vaso and her team could not have been more helpful and a big shout out to Manolis who was an amazing waiter and gorgeously kind person. All the staff made the stay here unforgettable serving great food, and a wonderful selection of cocktails and wine. The rooms were minimal but really comfortable and a superb shower. The hotel kindly organised a cake for our anniversary which was thoroughly enjoyed. A great time of year to visit Naxos . Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and a big thank you to all the staff.

Really enjoyable 6 day stay. Vaso and her staff are amazing and make the place. Can suggest visits and arrange anything including hire cars. Food is really well cooked and varied - great meat, fish and salads with Greek and other influences- we ate there every evening. Interesting wine list and good cocktails. Suites are spacious and comfortable. Own Sun loungers on the wonderful Plaka beach.

The staff here made us feel welcome from the moment of our arrival until our departure 6 days later. The rooms are nice and large by European standards. The jet tub is tiny and not heated but otherwise everything about our room was great. Huge shower with a steam jet, rain shower head, and multiple other wall jets. The bed was very comfortable. Nespresso machine in the room and gets replenished every day. 3 large bottles of water replenishing daily. The view from our room was amazing. They have an organized beach area with lounges and beachside food and drink services. You settle your daily charges at the end of the day so no need to take your wallet to the beach. Nearby supermarket for any other needs. Their Tortuga restaurant has a great selection. Note: the beach menu has lighter / lunch options that aren’t available in the restaurant itself so plan accordingly. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a quiet place right on the beach.

Excellent service and location ! Literally feels like you have your own private beach and they’ll bring you whatever you need. FYI it’s about a 30 euro taxi from the Naxos port to the hotel. They can arrange transportation for you.
