Henn na Hotel Premier Kyoto Eki Hachijoguchimae

Staff was amazing and welcoming. Exceeded my expectations

We absolutely loved staying here! It is SO conveniently located less than 3 minutes away from Kyoto Station (and the JR/Shinkansen lines) and the room we reserved (Hollywood twin) was the perfect size for us with a great view of the trains leaving the station. Of course, you can’t miss with the novelty of velociraptor receptionists!

Checking in by using Robots was not impressive, staff came out and helped us. We reserved 2 twin size beds, small room with small bath/shower, separate toilet, no complement water bottles (other hotels gave 2 bottles of water). Room was cleaned but not that new. Closed to the Train & Bus station with in 7-10 min walking. The hotel provides the luggage’s lock in the lobby, so you can leave your luggage’s for a short period.

The location is excellent but the robot(monster) in front reception is little scary and weird. How about having a cute characters instead?

Great location and very friendly staff. Appreciated an amenity bar instead of having set amenities delivered to the hotel room so I could cut down on plastic waste I generated. Also the dinosaurs were ready for Halloween!!

My stay at this Hotel was good. After all the walking around, it was good to have a comfortable bathroom and bed.

I hope to stay in the Henn na Hotel again. A taxi driver broke my foot, and the staff pulled out all stops for me. I cannot imagine a large five-star hotel being more helpful, kind, and accommodating than they were. Before the broken foot, I just loved living right across the Kyoto Train Station, with its many restaurants and amenities. I could easily take the subway and many buses directly from the train station. I had planned to take the bullet train to Tokyo, which would have just meant rolling my luggage across the street and into the station. My room was of a good size. Once I was in a wheelchair, they moved me into an accessible room, which was just perfect for me. I loved having coin-operated washing/drying machines right in the hotel. And it's reasonably priced on top of all that!

Very accessible to Kyoto train station. The auto baggage concierge is very convenient!
