The view , the pool, the villa the staff were the best part .. so professional and lovely

The noise next door to the villa was bad .. the bush around our villa was cut down so our view was of the building site next door

The location is amazing. Mathis Lodge Amed has been on my list of places to stay for a few years now and it did not disappoint. Be prepared for the drive from the pickup point to the lodge, it is bumpy! I made use of a spa package and staff were lovely and professional. Thank you Mathis Lodge Amed for making my stay welcoming and relaxing

Ça établissement était tout simplement incroyable. Magnifique vue Hotel splendide. Nous avons passé deux jours au top. Et un accueil parfait, les repas étaient merveilleux.

Nous étions juste un peu éloignés du restaurant et de la piscine, c’était le seul point négatif pour nous.

Nestled high in the mountains and accessed via a scenic 20-minute shuttle ride, Mathis Lodge offers a beautiful eco-lodge experience with breathtaking views across the mountains and down to the ocean. My villa bungalow was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with daily housekeeping throughout my stay. I was fortunate enough to receive an upgrade to a villa with its own private jacuzzi, which made the experience even more special. The bed was large and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Breakfast was included each morning and was consistently delicious, with a choice of meals accompanied by complimentary coffee and juice. The peaceful setting made it an ideal escape to unwind, slow down, and spend time with a good book. Although my particular villa was situated at the bottom of a substantial hillside, the staff were always happy to provide complimentary buggy transfers, ensuring access around the property was effortless and convenient. I also enjoyed a lovely spa treatment during my stay. Most of all, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They even assisted with transportation to my next hotel in nearby Amed, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you to the entire Mathis Lodge team for a wonderful and relaxing few days. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat with spectacular views.

This wasn't necessarily a negative, but guests should be aware that an additional 21% is added to most purchases, including meals, spa treatments, and minibar items, so it's worth factoring that into your budget. There is also some construction taking place on neighbouring properties. As a result, you may hear occasional construction noise during the day. However, work appeared to cease in the evenings, and I found the property quiet and peaceful at night.
