Local hotel on seafront Cheap & cheerful What you get is what you see

So if you’ve seen any of the pictures at this hotel you’d think it was a fantastic place to stay. Which I imagine it is if you get put in one of the rooms that is shown on the advert. Because they must be available as I’ve seen other reviews with photos. We were not. Just look at the photographs. The rooms are not the same. It was unclean, there is only a communal bathroom available which should be advised as I would never have agreed to that out of personal choice. The hallway smelt of faeces, everything was old, damaged and unloved. Strange brown handprints on the wall, showered smelt vile, tattered flooring and furniture. Rusting radiators and generally vile appearance. When we asked for a refund as this was not as advertised it was refused. If you have two different types of rooms, make people aware. Because we had friends staying at the same place, and they went to the nice part and their room was great, had their own bathroom, as the photos described and it was cheaper than ours. So yeah if you want to flip a coin and potentially stay in a dive that makes you hate life. Crack on. If not, book elsewhere.

A beautiful hotel in the perfect location, the staff were amazing and unbelievably helpful! The room was lovely and facilities too. We had the nicest view! The breakfast was so good and the atmosphere was the best. Thank you! We'll definitely stay again

Staff were really nice it was just other guest in the hotel no respect for people that was staying there, really noisy not a hotel I will be going back too

The person who greeted us was helpful. We stay in a separate building to the hotel itself which was nice. Room standards was adequate for the single night but the tv was cutting out a lot which your see in my pictures. Room seemed somewhat chilli. Covers on the bed was adequate to keep warm. The mattress itself wasn’t to comfy on the double as the springs was coming out. Shower- The shower was not very clean at the base. The tiles looked washed and clean but the base was not my expectation of cleanliness. Could be better deep cleaning. Overall 5/10

Being opposite a beach and that view from a window, what more can you ask for?
