The Hope Hotel

Overall we had a good stay. We had a room with a beautiful view out to sea but unfortunately it was only a standard room which meant we didn’t have our own bathroom. The sheets were crisp and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, it is a beautiful old building which is very much in need of a refurb.

The room was tidy, tv wasn't working neither was the WiFi unfortunately, but I had nice room with a amazing sea view, if the rooms tv and WiFi worked I would definitely give it 10 out of 10! But even though it wasn't perfect I would stay again.

Only wrong thing is the shower plug is blocked and the cold water running hot

I book a family room my son had no bed and slept on the floor no tv very dirty in room lots of broken appliances the accommodation was not even the one i book when i saw it on line it was away from the hotel very disappointed after what iv paid specially my son having to sleep on the floor wouls like to put a complaint in

Good people and service. Great price and accommodation was as expected.

Paid for a deluxe king room in the hotel. After checking in was taken to a house 5 min walk away that resembled student accommodation. Grubby, uninviting, small bed and tiny bathroom. Breakfast was ok.

No toilets/bathroom in rooms. Very tiered and grubby. Was a sock on the fiee alarm of my room showing somone had been smoking in it before. Genreally dirty and uncomftable

Great area next to beach front, big room, big bed, and a fridge and ensuite bathroom would definitely come back another time

I was expecting a sea view in a hotel, instead I got a view of a messy garden in a grubby bed sit away from the main building
