Emma was the most accommodating host we have ever met. She is friendly very helpful and very easy to talk to. We will come back again to her place. We give her 10!

The apartment is in an apartment building. We assumed that more apartments were rented out for short term lets. The location is fantastic and could not be better, especially if you are coming by car. There is parking available just outside the building for 0,6 Eur per hour (night and Sundays are free). We were lucky and always found a parking spot right in front of the house. Only use the blue parking! White is for 30 minutes. The parking meter accepts only coins and the card slot is broken. It is apparently also possible to use a parking app. The building can be accessed with a code and keys were ready at the apartment, so no need to meet anyone at a specific time, which we prefer. Our apartment was on the 3rd floor and had a small but well equipped kitchen and a lovely roofed terrace (no view), which must be great in summer. There was one bedroom in the apartment with a double bed and one more tiny walk-through bedroom with a single bed. As per usual, there is only one blanket on the double bed, but that seems to be normal in Italy. The apartment included a bathroom with a shower. There is a window in the bathroom very high up above the ground which was open and made the bathroom a little cold. No chance to close it as it was well above 2,5 meters high up. I had a work meeting via Google Meet and had no issues with internet speed, in fact that was also excellent. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay as well as with our host Emma, who was always available to answer questions.

Aside from the colder bathroom there was nothing that we disliked. Lecce is a fantastic city for a short break and we loved it.

Die Lage zwischen HBF und Altstadt ist ziemlich perfekt.

De kamer was heel ruim, alles aanwezig, en vooral: heel schoon. De ligging was perfect. 100m lopen, één weg oversteken, en na wederom 100m loop je binnen de stadsmuren waar je direct de eerste restaurantjes tegen komt. Loop je vanuit de kamer de andere kant op loop je tegen t treinstation aan met 100m. Auto parkeren kan in de straat van de kamer. Wel betaald (tussen 9.00 en 21.00, ongeveer 0,60 per uur, zondag gratis), en alleen aan de blauwe kant. Betalen kan met de meter, maar met de easypark is net zo makkelijk. Goede uitvalsbasis om het zuiden te verkennen.
