Killington Mountain Lodge, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

1st room we were put in had a horrible gaseous smell. Front desk put us in a new one that was better. The bathroom in both rooms were gross and hadn’t been deeply cleaned in way too long. Black mold on the corners and in tight spaces. The biggest issue was no coffee until 7 am. The coffee maker in the room was moldy. Then they charge 5$ for drip coffee! Criminal. Put free coffee in lobby with ice water like every other hotel on earth

We stayed at the hotel for three nights midweek and would rate the hotel location and beds 4 stars, but the property and maintenance 2.5 stars. The first morning, we woke up to go skiing and the water was not working throughout the hotel. No shower, could not brush your teeth or flush the toilets. When we returned from skiing the water was working, but luke warm shower. Alex at the front desk was very responsive and sent up a repairman to fix the shower and the sink which was clogged. He said he would return in a few minutes with tools and never returned. Alex was awesome and offered for us to move to another room, but not worth the hassle of moving for one night. Avoid room 305!

Location

No conventional breakfast or dining room located next to doors where people are going in and out to a jacuzzi and then drying themselves while you’re trying to eat in a room that was so cold the waitress had to wear a winter coat

Great location and within walking distance to a number of bars and restaurants. Very pleasant staff. Great atmosphere and comfortable public areas. We did eat at the restaurant and the food was decent and the prices were reasonable. Alcohol was a bit expensive..... $10 for a beer and $13 for a glass of wine, although I suppose that is to be expected. The room was comfortable, although the shower was a pain to get working. Also, a nice hot tub outside and a large fire pit going in the evening. All in all, a very positive experience.

I like where my room is located. It had a balcony that overlooked the mountain in all its autumn splendor. And the fire at night brings you peace of mind. So the location of this hotel is perfect😉

I recently spent an evening at this hotel and not only were the rooms nice, the staff friendly but the food was amazing. I was on a nine day bus tour of the New England states and this was the best hotel. I highly recommend.

Aside from its clean aesthetic this lodge has a lot to offer. The staff first and foremost was top tier. We came all the way from Detroit on business but by the end they helped it feel more like vacation. Big shout out to all the bar tenders even though I don't drink they were still a wonderful bunch and cant wait to bring the rest of the family back!
