This was a wonderful place to stay. We so enjoyed the history and the beauty of the mansion. Martha made an excellent breakfast every morning and was very kind. The library was a wonderful place to relax in the afternoons and enjoy some quiet time reading. The porches and the outdoor area were also beautiful places to relax. It was very convenient to the downtown area with nice restaurants. I would highly recommend people to stay here when you visit the areas Saratoga Springs.

The room was spotless

Fantastic location as a base to explore downtown Saratoga. Take a walk through the park, and you're right at the beginning of your downtown Saratoga adventure. Walk back through the park, and you're back at the beautiful inn you're calling home for however long your stay may be. The staff are very welcoming.

The fact that our stay was so short.

We loved our stay! If possible, having different breakfast options each day might make longer stays a bit better, rather than the same menu each day. I’d recommend a manager’s “reception” each night with wine, cheese, fruit, etc. The house is definitely made for entertaining. Also, while the soaps in the bathroom were nice, switching to a spa brand might also make it a bit nicer. Our room, the Maria Pia was very comfortable and it was nice hanging out in the common areas. The parking was incredible, given the historic home’s location. I’d definitely recommend the Batcheller Mansion Inn and stay here again!

It was fun staying in a mansion with wonderful attention to period details in the decor. There were multiple rooms downstairs to relax or read in, and the bedrooms were nicely decorated. The bathroom was modern and clean. Keep in mind, there is no elevator and stairs lead to the bedroom floors, which was not a problem for us however. The included breakfast was excellent. The location was in walking distance to the park and shops.

Great place with nice people running it. Awesome history to go with your breakfast.

Amazing! For around the same price, why would anyone want to stay in some chain hotel?
