I really enjoyed staying in a house building in the 1870s. It was really fun too be able to stay there.

Amazing. Would definitely stay again

I have stayed here twice during the race meet in August. It is beautiful and each room is individually decorated so no two are alike. The common areas, outside porch, living room and study are gorgeous. The custom included breakfast in the dining area was very good and freshly prepared. The only issue was, our room was on the third floor, and as older adults we found it difficult. Next time I will ask for a second floor room!

The mansion was lovely and the staff were very nice. They include a breakfast with the room which was ok (not spectacular but ok) but it is not until 8:30am and there is no coffee in the rooms or anywhere in the mansion so if you get up before 8:30 which most people do, you have to drive to a coffee shop. It was nice but I would not stay there again. When you are only there for 1 night it is quite expensive for the nice building and an ok breakfast. Lots of pictures of the man who built the mansion, big pompous man wearing lots of banners and medals ...basically he inherited wealth. Perhaps I am just sick and tired of pompous men these days! I don't admire them! Actually all this guy did was build a big house for himself and served as an ambassador, a job which was awarded to rich men! He actually did nothing for society with his money except entertain A-listers.I gave the place an 8/10 because it is not the owners' fault that Mr Batcheller is no one you would look up to.

Beautiful mansion. Nice room. Old charm. Bathroom was huge. Stayed in McKinley. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Proximity to downtown was great. Walked to Druthers for dinner in 10 mins. Walked to The Thirsty Owl for dessert and wine in 5 mins. No real complaints about place but we likely won’t return. Too many stairs for me. Note that check in is 3pm. Not sooner. They don’t have traditional front desk.

Beautiful and clean place. This bed & breakfast was one of the best we've stayed at. The staff was very attentive in making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Less than a mile walk to the race track. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
