Great place to stay for Christmas Markets

This property needs significant maintenance and upkeep. Our room had torn curtains, a leaky sink, broken or missing cove moldings, and a container of rodent poison in one corner. Even though our room was nonsmoking it was obvious someone had been smoking in it recently. The location was great with easy access to Xmas markets and the Romerberg but the property itself sucked.

Close to Christmas markets. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. If one is a light sleeper make sure to ask for a room away from cathedral and restaurant; even though view of cathedral is nice.

Great location next to Dom (cathedral) with attached restaurant on the first floor. Restaurant was quite enjoyable. Reasonably sized and comfortable room, although not particularly fancy. Only quibbles were lack of hooks and enough towel racks in the bathroom. Great walking location to many restaurants, the river, downtown, museums, etc. U-bahn station within steps of the hotel with direct line to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station).

Quaint hotel right next to the cathedral. We were sick so we didn’t get to enjoy the area but it’s very nicely located. The staff is awesome. It has a restaurant as well

Great location to all the Christmas markets. Attached restaurant was enjoyable and decent food. Breakfast was sufficient and the service was great!

We lived in Frankfurt years ago and wanted to stay near the Romer. This hotel is close to the S-bahn and U-bahn accesses. Conveniently in old town Frankfurt it was perfect to wrap up our vacation right by the main Christmas market. The morning breakfast is fantastic! You are offered fresh eggs how you like them if you so choose, and they will make you a coffee or cappuccino. Our room was right above the restaurant so it was a bit noisy in the evening but the restaurant closes around 10. The bathroom was great and spacious, and the bed comfortable.

We selected this place for the location near the Christmas Markets and it did not disappoint. We were never more than 20 min from most of the markets but the hotel had a nice, quiet space about it. The room was clean and perfect for our needs. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Our only feedback is the room was a bit warm for our tastes even with the heat turned down, and the beds weren’t as comfortable as others we experienced. Also, with the cathedral next door, the room was brighter with the lights coming in. We had dinner at the restaurant below and the food was very good too.
