Kubu Artha Bungalow Nusa Penida

Kubu Artha is a wonderful place. The bungalows are very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was very large and sometimes there was warm water. But who needs warm water with these temperatures... The room is cleaned daily and the wonderful owners are kind enough to leave fresh mangos and coconuts in the room. At night the place is quiet despite it being close to an area with shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Also the wifi is really good and fast. The location for me was perfect. Not too far from the port and close to the beach and relaxed beach clubs. I rented a scooter to explored the rest of the island. Kubu Artha can help arranging everything and the communication is friendly and fast. Initially I booked for 5 nights, but ended up staying 12 nights. So highly recommended from my side. Excellent value for money and I would definitely book again.

I made a small suggestion to Gede the owner and that is to eventually look into putting a small fridge in the room. It would be great to be able to cool some water / beers / soda's or melt sensitive candies ;). However I understand this cannot be realised easily and it would definitely NOT be a deal breaker for me to return to lovely Kubu Artha. And if you want stuff cooled then Gede offers to use a general fridge which he has on the premises.

GEDE and his wife were amazing hosts, made us feel so welcome.

Great property, good location and a very comfortable stay. Gede and his wife were superb hosts, he even picked me up from the harbour and allowed me to pick my own coconut to drink from their beautiful garden. Breakfast was served early to me on request, yummy banana pancakes! And they provided me with a scooter to rent on site…Fantastic! I would recommend this property to anyone!

Gede was a super nice host! He arranged good tours to a reasonable price. The breakfast was delicious and on top, Gede has the best mangos and coconuts in his garden. The room was clean, the space enough, the area in front of the room was nice too. It's close to the beach (3 mins walking), where you have great restaurants, and to the Banjar Nyuh harbour (walking 25 mins).

The room was quite dark, not many lights, and looked quite practical, but not very lovely. But this is complaining on a very high level, we definitely recommend staying here!

The location is excellent for local food and western.food alike. Close to everything. The hosts are a lovely local family who can help you with scooters, tours and general information. We had a real relaxing stay. Thank you Gede and his family!

Gede and his wife Made, very helpful and welcoming. Could help us also to rent a bike. The size of the room and the large bed, the bungalow style and the very quiet surroundings. Away from the main road. Small garden with lot of birds.
