Dining room had great views and the food was sublime . Staff extremely friendly and competent. Thoroughly enjoyed the yoga class and the spa treatments too.

This is a truly exceptional place. We loved almost everything about our stay and in particular: - the quality and comfort of the bungalow was outstanding - by far the best build quality / interior of all the places we have stayed in Sri Lanka. - the bed was supremely comfortable - the best shower either of have ever experienced anywhere - the view from the balcony is mind blowing - the staff are amazing and went out of their way on numerous occasions to help us - the quality of the gym is exceptional - breakfast was excellent - we enjoyed the yoga sessions - we liked that the hotel has a non smoking policy and a non alcohol policy, which fits with their wellness focus - we liked that they grow their own (organic) vegetables and clearly take a lot of pride in using fresh in their food - espresso machine as well as tea in the room - the walk around the outside of the estate offers outstanding views from an easy, well-made track. Others have said it is difficult to reach by road. It is true it is 40 minutes drive from Ella and the last 20 minutes is up a steep and often narrow road. But we went up and down it repeatedly in a tuk tuk without any problems. Reception were helpful in ordering those for us when we needed to go from the resort, as it is hard to get them booked via the Pick Me app. Other reviews complain about the cost of breakfast. It isn’t necessary to pay $30. You can just pay for what you have and we thought the prices were very reasonable. Most dishes are only about £4.

A couple of constructive suggestions: - we suggest the dinner menu could be improved to have more options reflective of the wellness focus of the resort. In particular we were surprised there was no fish on the menu. As we don’t eat meat that was quite limiting. - as others have said, the gym should have a water cooler, as is standard in pretty much all gyms everywhere

The location is amazing but wow it is a long way through windy roads to get there. Once you’re there there’s nothing around so best to use as a stop to relax rather than as a base to explore

Beautiful location, great facilities, amazing views, great staff, lovely food. Lovely balcony and comfortable rooms (minus the temp upstairs and the blinds, see below).

No AC upstairs so the mezzanine was very hot and stuffy no matter how much we tried to air it and a small electric fan didn’t cut it. Useless wooden blinds, and not much better Venetian blinds with strips of light peeking through, please get some proper blackout blinds. The swimming pool - small and very cold as as always in the shade. I’d consider heating it for this reason as it doesn’t get hot. Expensive food

Don’t let the remoteness put you off this amazing restaurant and hotel. My husband and I are foodies and have had some amazing meals but this place was truly exceptional and I think we will be reminiscing about the food and experience for a long time to come. The setting is fabulous inside the tea plantations and the chalets are stunning; watching sunrise on the balcony across the tea plantations was a real delight. All the staff were awesome and couldn’t do enough, all of them were so kind. Finally the spa is great with great quality facilities and treatments, yoga was also fantastic. Thank you so much for such an unforgettable experience.

The only things to note which could be improved was no bath in the room and mini golf isn’t really anything

Food was excellent with service to match. The location is amazing. Watching the sunrise over the mountains in the morning was very special. I can't exaggerate how much we liked this Anasa. There are very few places that I'd like to return to and this is one of them. I also had one of the best massages I've ever had. Thanks to everyone there.

The serenity and beautiful location and well thought of facilities

The room was incredible and the facilities great.

We stayed for 1 night only. Too bad that the breakie was $30 per person! It is not justified given how many 5* hotels we did in the country.

A beautiful and very peaceful resort surrounded by nature and incredible mountain views. The atmosphere is calm and perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The property is stylish and thoughtfully designed, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It’s a wonderful place to slow down and enjoy the tranquility of the Sri Lankan highlands.

The resort is quite quiet and remote, which may not suit travelers looking for nightlife or a more active environment. However, for us it was exactly what we were looking for and we really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.
