Desert Wonders Camp

Wonderful experience at Desert Wonders camp! The location in the middle of the Dunes, the simple yet authentic camp, and the kindness of the owner really made our stay memorable. I would definetly recommend to anyone looking for the true bedouin experience!

The camp is located between stunning sand dunes where you can go watch the sunset, sunrise or the beautiful starts at night. The drive with our 4wd SUV was made easy thanks to Nasser’s help, and that drive itself is already a memorable experience. We were alone in the camp, being still low season, but we were greeted with a tasty dinner and breakfast, comfortable beds, perfectly working shower, friendly staff… unbeatable value. There is also the possibility of sleeping under the stars in a platform with mattresses and pillows.

Great and more than enough food. Own is very friendly and easy communication through WhatsApp. He also offered us to sleep outside under the stars on a podium to be safe from small animals - would 100% recommend to do it. Also nice and safe hiking possibilities to top of dunes on your own.

It’s a bit unfortunate that not many people from staff could speak English. Small improvements, e. g. mirror in bath or some hangers to dry cloths would make a big difference.

Had an incredible time here. Nasir was very helpful and responsive when I was running late for my transfer. The place was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff were all nice. I loved getting to see the sunset over the dunes and then sleep under the stars!
