The host was wonderful. We got caught up with the floods and he (so sorry but didn't pick up his name 😔) was amazing in looking after us. And the desert is an awesome experience. Walk it, look at it and just feel the tranquility.

Well the floods wasn't what we expected in a desert!

It was my 3rd time here and I always can see new upgrades in the camp.

My group was 7pax and we ordered transfer but we got only 1 car so the 7pax could not fit in...

"Overall it was a good experience to spend time in a desert"

8.0

A great place to experience the desert. It’s secure however it can be improved a lot. Washrooms were clean and we had the open air experience (no roof) The sunset drive on the desert on 4x4 suv was very good.

Food quality needs to be improved. No Internet & cellular access. More lights esp at night would have been great.

"Amazing experience combining adventure and comfort"

10.0

Amazing experience. It provides a genuine taste of the desert (great sights of dunes and starry nights, a sunset trip to the dunes with the extra perk of dune riding on a jeep), but also offers enough comfort for those who are not too keen on camping. The tents are large, clean and equipped with soft beds and even a small restroom (where you can truly shower under the stars). The staff is very nice. Absolutely recommended.

- highly recommend booking the desert drive for 30 OMR (per car), this included the transfer to/from the camp from the parking lot. The drive to the camp includes a serious uphill section, a cheap 4x4 rental got stuck several and couldn't make it. The desert drive is lots of fun, the driver will drive to 2 viewpoints (for sunset) with fun dune driving in between.

- Beds pretty uncomfortable, could use some new mattresses - Despite the picture on booking.com, the 2 person tent does NOT have a private bathroom. In our case, 2 tents shared a bathroom between the tents

Great location. Simple but plentiful food. Great experience to spend the night in the desert

Beds a bit uncomfortable. Be aware if you rent a 4WD and decide to drive yourself there is a pretty big dune you need to get over to get to the camp which could be a challenge for the inexperienced

"Great sunset tour trip in a 4WD. Dinner & breakfast quite basic"

10.0

We were picked up by the owner and he took us for a ride through the dessert to see a sunset. This was the highlight of the stay, together with meeting hs camels.

The dinner and breakfast were very basic. Not great.

We got transport organised from Muscat to the camp for a very good price. Great people working there, sunset ride and camel ride was great, we were taken care of! We can definitely recommend!

The desert camp is well located to see the extraordinary beautiful sunset. The camp tents are big and comfort to shelter 5-6 people with open sky showering room. Delicious Omani dinner with loads of fruits provided and we specially like the Omani tea and coffee. Camel ride and sunset ride on a 4-wheels car are great experience too.

Nothing.
