Olissippo Lapa Palace – The Leading Hotels of the World

The staff - the service is exceptional. Pool area is glorious. While it has an old world feel about the decor, it’s well maintained and offers very comfortable surroundings. The layout is a little quirky but that is something to love about the hotel.

My husband and I invited our niece, her husband, and 17- month old baby boy to join us for a week in Lisbon. We divided our time between the Pestana Palace, another Lisbon treasure, and the Lapa Palace and the level of personal care we received at both hotels was extraordinary. The view of the river from our balconied rooms was incredibly beautiful, and the pool garden provided a perfect refuge from the hot afternoons during the recent heatwave. Having that amenity, and the level of care from the staff with cleaning and meals, and the lovely rooms and terrace kept us and the baby happy throughout our stay. We really can’t thank them enough.

Spectacular hotel with impeccable service. Views are stunning and garden is an oasis in the middle of Lisboa. Only complaint is that some of gym equipment is dated and could be updated (rickety old ellipticals and quite noisy).

Lapa is very nice and quiet neighborhood of Lisbon, no surprise many embassies chose Lapa. Hotel is a former palace, so they kept the style and ambiance. Probably not a preferred place for younger folks, but we loved it a lot

Treat yourself when staying in Lisbon. This wonderful property has balcony rooms overlooking the garden and pool. Ornate furnishings are everywhere and helpful staff are throughout the property. A full breakfast is available. Property is walkable to attractions dmd authentic food.

Simply wonderful ! An oasis in a big city

This is a palace converted into the hotel. While the hotel is decent and has great grounds and a swimming pool, we felt it was a bit out of the way from Lisbon city center and it takes about 25 minutes to reach in traffic. The breakfast was not the best given that it is a five star property as well.
