Quinta dos Peixes Falantes

Quinta com jardins bonitos , num espaço tranquilo . A casa com um quarto é confortável e a cozinha está bem equipada . Um sítio bom para quem não quer ficar num hotel grande. A localização é relativamente central , para quem quer visitar a ilha . A proprietária é muito simpática e sempre pronta para ajudar.

I should have stayed longer

The space itself was a beautiful studio with huge windows that opened to a little garden. It had a small kitchenette that was fully equipped for meal prep. The host was incredibly kind and had some home made jam and treats for us when we arrived. We had the breakfast in the morning which was wonderful. It consisted of fruits, pancakes, eggs, cheese, yogurts, pastries and more. The host was very kind, she answered all of our questions, made wonderful suggestions for restaurants and gave us some history of the location and the grounds. The studio itself was very clean, stylish, and quiet. I would recommend this establishment for anyone wanting stay on this side of the Sao Miguel.

The only problem that we had was it was a bit far from town and the roads were not paved on one way making it a bit difficult to get to town and back.

It is a hidden gem in a beautiful garden. A true connection to nature (we had the studio)

Considering the cost, would be nice to include the breakfast. Do not expect hotel service, is more of a high end Airbnb style

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful and relaxing family-run hotel! Ana Isabel and her staff are so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The grounds and gardens are absolutely stunning, and the pool was such a treat to come back to after a long day traveling around the island. Our stay in one of the main house lodges was relaxing, calming, and so refreshing. The breakfast is delicious and it is a unique experience to dine in the chapel! Port wine and cakes and cookies are set out in the evening in the chapel for guests, too. The location is perfect to explore the island with ease by car. We appreciated Ana Isabel’s great recommendations for beaches and good restaurants nearby! Cannot wait to go back and will be recommending this place to everyone we know!
