Location was good for me.

As soon as you walk into the property it smells of cigarettes as the hostess smokes inside the property. It was 30 degrees and the hostess did not provide a fan, her excuse was guests leave the fan on 24 hours. A terrible excuse in this scorching heat !! A guest not entitled to some cool air ? A cheap hostess who wants to save on bills. The bed sheets smelt of damp and seemed 20 years olds with the colour faded. The door kept making a noise and the room felt like a sweat box, the shower had no hot or cold sign. Beds were hard.

Room was perfect size ,bed very comfortable, sharing bathroom very cleaned n lovely ,all was perfect.

Good breakfast. Perfect location for me. The hostess was very friendly.

The bathroom was big enough, and the water came out well with no issues. The bathroom was clean as well. Our room was OK. The bed was very comfy, I have a terrible back, but I managed to sleep through the night with no issue. The location was perfect for our drives. The host allowed us to check in 10 mins before the check-in time. We parked our car on the premises with no issues.The bedroom was also specious.

The breakfast was so disappointing as we normally prefer hot food to be saved but unfortunately we were told their licence to serve hot meals was revoked so we did not manage to eat anything as expected. We ended up spending more to buy hot food somewhere else. Also, if you are not so good with burnt essence,this would not be an ideal accomodation as they had them everywhere and they are very strong, my head was paining at one point.

The lady who owns the place is very friendly and it's a nice, quiet part of Birmingham.

It was quite hot in the bedroom so I didn't sleep too well, but I should have just asked if there was a fan I could have borrowed!
