Morrison House Old Town Alexandria, Autograph Collection

This is me and my wife's favorite place to stay when we want a staycation. The mixologist on staff is amazing (if you are into mixed drinks), and the hotel is so close to many of our favorite restaurants in the area. So walkable, yet off the beaten path. As a lover of books, getting to take books home is a bonus. We stay here at least 2 times a year.

A nice hotel in a nice area. Friendly staff but it took over 30 minutes to check-in because of issues with the last minute reservation I made through Expedia. The night staff required making a copy of my drivers license and credit before I received a room key.

A quaint little hotel in the heart of Alexandrea Ma. The employees are excellent, so friendly and helpful. And the breakfast is unbelievable. Meeili is so sweet. She really made our stay memorable. She takes care of your every request at the breakfast bar. And they offer a great variety for your selection. The hotel is a quaint little hotel. The rooms are small but adequate. Everything is very clean and comfortable. The only negative is the towels and toiletries. The towels are very thin. They definitely need replacing. And so too with the toiletries. There is plenty of shopping in the area. And quite a selection of restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. We are from the Shore in New Jersey and travel quite a bit. So we have experience in visiting many hotels and B and Bs. Don’t miss out on a gem of a place when visiting Alexandrea.

Hotel was in a good location. Room was small with only one chair. Could not adjust the air conditioner and fan was noisy. Overall, a quaint hotel and nice place to stay.

She is so sweet and went out of her way to explain the ins and outs of the hotel and guide us on things to do and places to eat in the area. Monique's professionalism and warm demeanor greatly enhanced our experience at your hotel. She went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Her positive attitude and willingness to assist truly made a difference and contributed to a memorable visit. This is the first time that we stayed in a boutique hotel, as we usually stay in a more conventional hotel. This was such a nice change for us. The smaller hotel allows more individual attention and a much warmer feeling. Thank you for having such a dedicated team member. Just got back from a night stay at the hotel. Monique and Douglas were excellent with making sure our check in process was smooth and we had all we needed. The room was on the 4th floor, it was very quiet, we viewed a small courtyard. The room was clean and had nice toiletries provided. There is no coffee/tea makers in the room but they do provide it downstairs in the lobby area in the morning. We got the breakfast. I would call it a heavy continental. Food was good if you view it that way. If expecting a full service breakfast you will be underwhelmed. Definitely recommend the hotel

Great quick trip to Old Town in this wonderful boutique hotel. The hotel is very inviting with lots of great spots to relax in. The bar was cozy with a fantastic bartender and fun cocktails. They had a live piano player on Saturday night. The rooms are small, but modern and comfortable. It’s a very easy walk down King Street to the waterfront. Just be aware there is no parking on site. You can street park or valet for $45/night. Highly recommend!

The entire experience was great from start to finish. They have a great breakfast and such a cozy bar experience at night, with live music! All the staff is delightful! We specifically loved Sam D and Douglas. They were so kind and welcoming.
