My wife and I had a wonderful experience. It was quiet, cute, quaint, and the service was impeccable. We were greeted with smiles and care and attentiveness. Breakfast was great, great drinks, and we felt really taken care of. If you’re looking for, a getaway with terrific customer service, then this is the place to go.

We had a great stay at The Morrison House. The location was perfect…just a little bit off the beaten track for a nice, quiet sleep. The service was friendly and very attentive, especially Miguel. Thank you for a wonderful 3 nights in Alexandria!

We loved our first stay here. Every single element was pleasing and rewarding for our stay in downtown Alexandria. The service level of EVERY employee was off the charts. The valet, the front desk, the bar and cleaning. The rooms are so well-appointed and clean beyond. The beds are very comfortable and our room view was amazing. We will be back again and again. Thank you Morrison staff!!

This staff was incredible! This was a hard week for us in business and during our stay we felt so cared for! Monique- thank you for caring for me when I was sobbing following our corporate good bye call ( I am leaving my co this week) Douglas - thank you for your beautiful story and sharing with me! Fantastic people and service

Lovely small hotel in Alexandria . Perfect location with bars /restaurants/shops very close to the hotel . I would have given it 5 stars if we had gotten our lovely room on 4th floor when we checked in. We got a room in the “basement “,it was very claustrophobic with half windows and a terrible noice from the air conditioning room next to our room .we didn’t sleep much the first night -so room in the basement (I can’t call it ground floor as it is in the basement) 2 stars - room on the 4th floor ,5 stars . We loved the new room and the view ,everything was perfect. I would love to stay again if I knew I would get one of the nice rooms .

We will not be back. The Autograph rating needs to be rescinded. Once an adequately staffed hotel, not anymore. Front desk attendant served double duty as the valet. Hotel used to have them and needs them back. The bar called The Study is closed part of the week. Used to be open. Great place. A shame we couldn’t enjoy it. Wine was supposed to be available from 5-6 pm and came down to the lobby at 520 but no bottles open to be served. Water pressure in faucets and shower are inadequate. I had more pressure by emptying my water bottle onto my tooth brush. One shinning moment was access to a full gym down the street because the hotel doesn’t have one. They really should. Last, customer service has gone downhill. Note, no wheel chair access to front door that we could see.

The elevator did not work. The bar and restaurant were both closed. It was 96 degrees and we had to walk up to the 5 th floor. The staff is fantastic.

My wife and I had a wonderful overnight stay. The staff were so welcoming including Miguel, Sam, Douglas, Teddy..... what a great place. And a wonderful dinner in "The Study" thanks to Rodney, the bartender, and the chef and his/her team. Thank you.

Staff members were pleasant and very friendly. We checked in with Yani and she asked what was the purpose for our stay we told her anniversary. Later that evening we had a bottle of wine with a card delivered to our room. The next morning we were greeted by the manager Miguel and offered us free breakfast. He was very pleasant to talk with. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
