Lochwood Guest House Wing

Location is absolutely amazing, we saw seals in the water several times from the property!! Very relaxing atmosphere with a great host. Our Cavapoo dog was also allowed to stay with us which is a big plus. Highly recommended.

Unglaubliche Lage, absolute Ruhe und freundliche Gastgeber.

The house is beautiful (and ok to use), especially the living room which has an amazing view of the lake. The owner (Marcin?) was so helpful and all of his suggestions were great. Breakfast, cooked by Marcin, is incredible and healthy! It was quiet, comfy and had everything you would want or need!

The guesthouse was very comfortable and was set at the side of the loch, with stunning views in very private grounds. Our host, Macin was a lovely guy, who was very warm, helpful and knowledgeable about all the area had to offer. nothing was too much trouble.

My only complaint was that we were served a prescribed plate of food, described as a plant based breakast. My knowledge of a plant based meal is limited, however I am quite sure iit should not have included salami, bacon, sausage and eggs. There was also a plethora of plant based food on this plate, which I found quite "off putting." I think in a Bed & Breakfast establishment in Scotland, one of the treats of such a trip is the breakfast. I was disappointed and feel that a menu of choice should be offered to all guests.

Absolutely beautiful The most stunning thing / scenery i have ever witnessed. Beautiful Guest House - View to die for!! Marchin - host was so welcoming and helpful very friendly and gave some excellent advice on where to go and what to view. Room was stunning and so Comfy. I will definitely return.

The most beautiful place to stay, right at the Loch, fantastic breakfast, so much wildlife to observe, comfortable beds and the best thing about the place: the host Marcin. He was so welcoming, had great recommendations and planned a beautiful route for us for when we had to leave and continue our trip!
