Lochwood Guest House Wing

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, betreut und zum Frühstück bekocht. Ein traumhafter Blick aufs Wasser und die Berge. Mehrfach konnte ich Robben durchs Zimmerfenster beobachten. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre.

Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist etwas abenteuerlich (wenig befestigte Singleroad ohne wirklichen Ausweichplatz).

Simly a magical place. Marcin is an incredible host, so welcoming and kind. He puts his heart and soul into Lockwood and making sure all his guests have a brilliant experience. The wildlife around this beautiful house is just wonderful. From the resident Robin feeding from my hand to seals and porpoises in the bay and a multitude of birds, not to mention the red squirrels, it's an animal lovers dream. The room was spectacular with the perfect view over the loch, and very dog friendly 🐾🐾. The house is spotless and Marcin provides a very tasty breakfast and made me superb plant based one specially. Great decking place and lodge to sit outside with BBQ for guest use and direct access to the loch for swimming. Less than a minute drive to The Boatshed cafe and 5 min drive from Lochgoilhead. We cannot wait to come back. Marcin and his team have great plans for developments too including a Sauna and yoga pod so watch this space 🩵

Die ruhige Lage war sehr schön. Es wurde sich um alles gekümmert und man ist auf die Wünsche der Gäste eingegangen. Besonders nett und hilfreich waren die morgendlichen Informationen für Touren.

Die Internet-Verbindung war sehr sehr langsam….

Total stay was formidable, a great host who made a delicious breakfast, the best we had in Scotland, he’s also very helpful in advising you where to go or eat, making a reservation for the restaurant. The B&B is located at the lake, a beautiful spot where you can relax outside or inside in the well decorated interior. It’s spotless 👏🏻.

A bit too remote for our trip. Roads were narrow and tricky. Would be perfect for a longer stay if your goal was to relax.

Location, room, view, everything apart from the food

First hotel, or B&B that I have ever been in my life (I had stayed in over 500 over the last 10 years) where they don’t ask you what hot food you want for breakfast - you don’t get a choice, no menu - they just give you whatever they want to give you. Found that very weird……. Most of the stuff on the plate I didn’t like salad, garnish, other things not related to breakfast aswell - so for that reason only - I won’t be staying there again……

Traumhafte Lage direkt am Wasser. Morgens wenn das Wasser glatt ist, kann man Seehunde direkt vom Zimmer aus sehen. Martin hat sehr gute und individuelle Tips für die Ausflüge und auch Strecke zum fahren.
