Courtyard Charlotte Airport North

I always stay at this hotel when visiting the area and never had a problem with my room until this visit. My room had a smell like mold and it seemed like every door stuck so if people left early in the morning or late at night there was always a slamming of a door even mine! The staff was helpful and wonderful wouldn’t change them but their rooms need work.

While it seems that this hotel might be a good option to stay and leave your vehicle parked when you use Charlotte airport, it is riddled with criminal activity. Your car is not safe. The hotel provides no security. The hotel has had hundreds of break ins this year and gives no notice to the consumer about the risks involved. After your car is vandalized, the hotel management is rude and unhelpful. The management will hang up on you and refuse to give police report or surveillance from the crime upon your vehicle. You should seek an alternative to this Marriott location.

The staff was very welcoming and the convenience of the hotel to the airport was great! The driver of the shuttle was so nice and excellent driver. My only feedback piece was rhe smell of the room..was very sour smelling. Couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from, but it was only in the room. Honestly we only stayed in the hotel for 5 hours before we had to go back to the airport, but overall great location and staff.

We left our truck and paid for the “Park Here” package while we were away on vacation. We received a call from the manager midweek that our vehicle had been vandalized. The window was busted out, and things were stolen out of the console. The same thing happened to our friend who was also parked here at the same time. He was parked right beside the side door under a light and cameras pointed right at his vehicle. This is not what you want to spend your vacation thinking about traveling home to, and the manager was not very sympathetic insisting it was kids.

Location to airport was convenient. Shuttle was quick and both drivers were super friendly and kind. The ladies at the front desk for check in were AMAZING! Showed genuine care and concern for me and that they wanted me to have the best stay. The food was great at the bistro. I’ve been eating vegetarian and they had the hummus plate with veggies and a Mediterranean quinoa bowl that was really good. The pool was indoor and water was warm. The fire pit outside was so soothing and even at 95° outside it still provided a great place to sit alone and relaxing. The bed was SO comfortable. Everything in the room worked - including the AC which was phenomenal.

The only thing I wanted to do that I didn’t get to was laundry, the Guest Laundry was out of service but that wasn’t a big deal at all.
