HL Suite Nardos - Only Adults

The hotel is lovely and clean. The pictures don't do it justice. The staff are extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. This is the second time my fiance and I visited and we were stunned by how many staff were still there who remembered us and welcomed us like old friends. The food was excellent quality and they had a large selection on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The location was very good and easily walking distance to key areas near by. The room was a good size and it was nice having a private pool area for the suites. The lady that checked us in was very friendly.

It’s a little dated and in need of a renovation. There was no wow moment. The food was ok but not exciting or interesting. The themed nights could have been really tasty but the options were always basic and bland. The vegetarian options were not very good. Service at the poolside bar was slow.

Location and cleanliness

We had the same food every single day, super boring (apart from the day special but again it repeated itself!). The staff was rude and I was denied even water at the end of my dinner since the kitchen was already closed (it was 20:58 technically I still had 2 minutes!). When I punched my all-inclusive holiday I opted for a double bed but we were given to single beds - was a tragedy to sleep! The staff was crying during the service and I was shocked by a girl with long black hair who was crying while carrying plates around and just banged them on the pile outside near the BBQ. The jacuzzi was a real scam: could be only used when the hotel wanted us to but was our private and we paid extra for it...

Excellent in every way

Food was good, for the most part, though some stuff was invariably either over or undercooked. Most of the staff were very friendly and the rooms were cleaned spotlessly every day.

Wherever we go on holiday, our first priority is a room with a bath so we paid a heavy premium for a suite with a spa bath that was advertised on Booking.com. On arrival we were shown to a room without a bath. We went back to reception to be told that there were no rooms with baths in the hotel at all. We hold booking.com, rather than the hotel, responsible for this. Furthermore, we booked the suites and were told that the swimming pool around the suites were solely for suite clients. This proved not to be the case and other guests of the main hotel also used it. The pool itself was in something of state of disrepair with tiles missing from the pool floor and steps and a couple of the water filters/pumps were broken. The area surrounding the hotel is shockingly run down: most of the shops are closed down and boarded up and the bars in the close vicinity are, for the most part, filthy. One in particular had more cockroaches than customers. If you're happy to stay all inclusive in the hotel and rarely venture out, it's great. If you're hoping to try some of the local amenities, go elsewhere.

Amazing hotel with all we needed. Staff are brilliant, and it’s lovely and clean. 2nd time staying and will be back again.
