Location. In much better nick than the Cecil

Pricey My room had the bath in the bedroom with no separate shower At just shy of 200 quid a night I’d have liked access to a decent shower

"Good location for walking Hereward Way but disappointing if you want and early night."

Comfy bed. Large and pleasant room.

It was very noisy as I could hear people in the bar until 11pm. Also woken up at 7am by the piped music at breakfast.

Our room was very well appointed, and the facilities excellent. Tea/coffee tray was much appreciated as were the cookies! Bed very comfortable and welcoming radio on arrival immediately made us feel at ease.

Well located

Shower blasted hot and cold so was horrible having a shower. It was quite noisy, noise from the street, other guests and a dog consistently barking

A delightful old pub with beautifully appointed rooms and staff who were amiable and very attentive. We were touched that they had made us some gluten free brownies for our room. The bar and dining area were very attractively presented too.
