Everything was perfect

Lovely large room. Very clean and bed was very comfortable. Water , tea and coffee available and very nice cookies Huge bathroom very good Nice shower with complementary shampoo etc

Some quite steep stairs to the room, We felt we paid quite a lot for one night

Lovely hotel, beautifully decorated room, very comfy bed, I slept like a log. Room was street side but you couldn’t hear much for a midweek stay. Didn’t manage to eat there but the complimentary cookie was highly appreciated, also fresh milk in the mini fridge for morning coffee is a big win. Great location and very friendly staff. Lots of doggos as well which was a joy.

There was a lovely dressing table where I planned to do my makeup for the wedding I was attending but the lighting wasn’t great. Not a big thing at all, I used the bathroom which was fine but it was a bit of a shame that the lamp next to it was down facing so not really practical for makeup application.

Great room in a really nice pub , excellent location for Burghley hall and the town centre
