Location, clean, spacious and big apartment.

Key pickup location is 10min away. Kitchen was poorly equipped. There was only one working pan, no dish towels or cloth, no basic ingredients like salt, pepper, oil etc. No soap in the bathroom.

The location is near the city center.

Arrival: We waited more than half an hour for the agent to show up with the keys even though I clearly communicated with them about my arrival time in advance and on the day itself. Environment: dodgy backstreet Street was loud well after midnight from tenants living downstairs waking up in the evening and shouting over world music and the extreme cooking smell that was penetrating throughout the day. Amenities: Looking at the previous reviews (after confirming my booking, my mistake) I requested some dishwash tabs, a kitchen cloth etc in advance. None of these were available. Even though our agent said ‘it should have been in your ‘welcome package’’it will come later. Thanks for the empty promise! Coffee machine without coffee. ‘You can buy the coffee yourself!’ Cleanliness: We booked for 5 and the last bed apparently was the oil stained sofa. They didn’t bother to put sheets onto it or prepare a normal bed pillow. Kitchen floor was dirty. Facilities: One of the rolling curtains was missing. Frying pan to make some eggs for breakfast was not induction compatible. Microwave is missing one of the leveling rubbers so it’s out of balance. There wasn’t even hand soap in the soap containers to wash our hands. Contact with the lodging company was not possible after check in. No answering the phone. No reply on messages through WhatsApp or booking.com All in all we can conclude that this hospitality company cares zero about the state of the appartment, its guests stay and experience. but all the more about their money inflow. Could have been a great stay with some simple repairs, minimal amenities, cleanliness and functioning equipment…

Poorly maintained. Stains on couch Nothing but toilet paper was provided. No detergent no kitchen towel etc. Stair lights mir working.

was fairly quiet and there was quite a bit of kitchen stuff but wasn’t clean.

wasn’t super clean, the sheets felt old and not clean on the main bed also everything in the kitchen was dirty and no dishwashing tablets. The listing did not explain that it is on the top floor, the stairs were really narrow and steep and the lights were broken. this is usual for the area but it should explain that’s it’s up 5 flights. the apartment was cold even though the weather was mild so would be freezing in winter and super hot in summer. the power kept tripping if we had a heater on and appliances in the kitchen.

It was very cold. Some heaters didn’t work but the staff brought another heater after two days.

It was a distant to collect the keys, the person at the office just told us to get a taxi.

The apartment is well located in a quiet zone of Bairro Alto.

We were allowed to leave the lugagge in the office where we collect the keys earlier, but we couldn't even quickly use the toilet (my erderly parents asked for it) as it was only for staff, also they provided us the wrong password to the wifi. The apartment was on the 4th floor without elevator, which I didn't find it mentioned anywhere in the announcement, we had 2 elderly with us, if known I wouldn't have booked this place.
