La Playa Beach & Golf Resort, a Noble House Resort

Fabio, Igor and Vincennes are so kind and welcoming at the beautiful La Olay hotel! What a special weekend before my husband was a guest speaker at an HR conference that began on Monday at the hotel. Autumn at the front desk made us feel so welcome upon our 2am arrival in due to delayed flight. Nick had a beautiful platter of charcuterie and a lovely bottle of wine in our gorgeous beachfront 12th floor suite room! What an absolute treat and surprise when we arrived at 2am!! Gary helped us find the fitness room when we looked lost the next morning. Tay at the front desk also helped us with a late checkout on our departure day so we could maximize all the wonderful amenities on the property before our 3 pm flight.. What a beautiful hotel! A paradise Beachfront treasure!

I cannot say enough good things about Teresa. I let her know that my neck had been bothering me and she was able to work out my discomfort and I feel leaving so refreshed. She was professional, and I felt every touch was intentional and soothing.

Nice location, but everything is way overpriced for what you get. The hotel restaurant needs to improve its attention to detail. We were very clear about a dairy allergy and the waitstaff delivered a meal with dairy to my wife, who later had an allergic reaction. A major problem.

La Playa is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at. We got married here two years ago, and every time we return, we're reminded that choosing LaPlaya was one of the best decisions we've ever made. What truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff doesn't just provide great service--they create lasting relationships. Nikolaus at the front desk remembers us every time we visit, including details about our lives and story. He goes out of his way to make us feel welcomed and valued, like we're coming home rather than checking into a hotel. And Larissa, who supported our wedding, is simply a beautiful human being--kind, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making every moment special. Her warmth and care played such a big role in making our wedding day feel effortless and magical. We're in Naples often, and LaPlaya is always a highlight of our trips. The level of care, attention, and genuine hospitality is unmatched. If you're thinking about having your wedding here--do it. Nous avons été upgradé pour un chambre devant la ventilation générale- un bruit infernale qui s’entendait même dans la chambre. J’ai informé le personnel de l’hôtel qui n’en avait rien à faire. La réception n’a pas réagit. J’ai oublié qq hose au petit déjeuner sur la table et à nouveau personne ne s’en ait soucié - je n’ai jamais retrouvé mon bien. Honteux

This was our second time staying at LaPlaya and fourth time staying in Naples during the same time of the year. This was the first time not only in Naples but in all of our beach vacations when a resort would not allow beach umbrellas due to minor ocean breeze, I can't even call it wind. While other places along the beach had their umbrellas up on a sunny day like April 8th, LaPlaya chose not to have them when there was no strong wind, and it only started raining after 5 pm that day. After multiple complaints from other guests of no umbrellas for two days, they finally placed umbrellas on April 10th, but only for half of their beach area saying that the wind was there on the left side of the beach but not on the right side of the beach, can't even type this nonsense without laughing (attached is a photo of how ridiculous this was). I get the idea of safety and all, and that would be fine if there was actual wind. If they feel the umbrellas are not secure enough to withstand the regular ocean breeze, then they must come up with a better system of installing umbrellas into the sand. But I can't come for a week on the beach and not have a shade, that's not a vacation, sorry. In the room, one glass was dirty, another glass was missing. Cleaning lady did not come all day until we inquired and were told she was busy and will come later in the afternoon, which was too late for us as we would be back from the beach by then, so we went without cleaning that day. The breakfast food is good but, on some days, service is really slow, it took 40 minutes to order and get our food one day, for instance. Given that this is the only hotel in the area right on the beach, they will always have guests staying there, which is why we stayed here a second time, but we will have to seriously consider other options if this resort cannot figure out their umbrella situation. The staff is very friendly and nice and the view is great.
