La Playa Beach & Golf Resort, a Noble House Resort

Just right Goldilocks property - not too big, not too small. Gorgeous ocean views, perfect beach, outstanding on-site restaurant, very helpful staff. Parking is very expensive, but that's the only downside.

Excellent boutique resort right on the ocean. Oceanfront Lanai was absolutely wonderful. Steps from the sand with ocean view on main level! Lounge chairs right outside sliding door and also firepit. Beach service was great. Very friendly employees from checking to valet to beach servers. Treated very well and warm genuine welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious and quick. Lovely views of the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. The only suggestion is the fitness room needs some air ventilation and A/C turned down. It was very hot and strong air freshener type odor. We could not stay in there for very long. Everything else was great!

My wife and I spent a few days at LaPlaya earlier this week, and we had an absolutely marvelous experience. Recognizing that the resort had relatively low occupancy this considered off season, we were still treated like royalty from the moment we walked in until the moment we checked out. Check-in was very easy, our room was ready when we got there early afternoon and we had a high King balcony Tower room overlooking the Gulf. It was absolutely beautiful. Room was well kept maid service was timely every day and we never had a problem while we were there with anything. The bathroom was a little small and could have used an update perhaps a walk-in shower as opposed to a bathtub with a sliding glass door but that was the only thing I would say about the room that wasn't top notch. We had dinner and lunch at baleen a couple of times, including a beautiful sunset dinner, spent our mornings at the beach our afternoon's at the pool and the tiki Bar and the staff from top to bottom couldn't have bent over backwards for us more. The front office manager Wenderson in particular provided outstanding service and hospitality greeting us every day by name and a handshake. We got such a wonderful feeling here from the staff, we can't wait to come back. I would strongly recommend La Playa resort.

The room had a beautiful beachfront view of the Gulf of America, and the staff is efficient, helpful and lovely!
