The property is dated and in need of a facelift. The room itself showed wear and tear the bathroom was dated and had missing caulk, damaged walls, damaged fixtures. The pool area was small, dank, and the hot tub was not working. The halls seemed dirty and smelled bad. The hotel is right off the highway and the road noise was excessive, loud cars all night long made it difficult to sleep. The A/C in the room never really got cold. The beds were not very comfortable and none of us slept well. Overall it was just a mediocre stay and I definitely wouldn’t stay there again or recommend it to anyone that I like.

"Great Hotel in Temple!"

We loved our stay at the Fairfield in Temple, Texas. The hotel is very clean, quiet and smells great when your walking through the hallways. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we've ever had. Everyone working at the hotel was super nice and helpful. I had to do a load of laundry and the dryer was out. Rather than just telling me I couldn't do laundry, they offered to dry my clothes in their commercial dryer. The kids had a great time swimming especially since the pool is heated! The hottub was under repair when we we're there but that wasn't a big deal. The hotel is close to a CVS, some places for a quick bite and I remember seeing a Targert and Walmart pretty close by. We will definitely stay here again!

I was wonderfully surprised. It’s older but clean, comfortable and service was outstanding. Very quiet. My water froze so I needed a place to stay. It was like a little vacation. I need to stay in hotel in temple, I know where I’ll be staying.

Guy working nites was problamatic, giant roach at breakfast that the enployee killed. The girl in the daytime had great customer service. Cleaner than most hotels in the area.

"Smiles make a difference "

It was great! Very comfortable & clean. Check in & out was fast and when I went to the front desk for something they took care of it fast. Only thing I didn’t like your breakfast host was rude, never spoke & no smiles whatsoever. She definitely does not fit in with your crew. Maybe she had a bad day, not sure but still. If she is going to be the first person we see in the morning while going for breakfast, I just would rather skip that next time.
