Howard Johnson by Wyndham Greensboro Near the Coliseum

We arrived at 12:45pm to find shopping carts by the front door and the front door locked. When we drove around to our room the side of the hotel not facing the road was 2/3 boarded up windows and there were at least 25 people who appeared to be under the influence around a grill/fire in a parking space. One person parked their bike in front of our car and stared until we went around - very scary. They let us check out and we left to find another place to stay.

Pool was dry and breakfast was not available. Those things should be listed in booking sites. The young woman at the desk was rude.

This was the most horrible experience ever. The first room the air didn’t work. It took at least an hour to get another room because the lady at the front desk disappeared. There was 1 towel. 1 wash cloth. 1 hand towel in the room. So house keeping wouldn’t be back til the next day. We got up to do breakfast the next day but guess what no breakfast like u advertised. We go visit family to come back to our room and house keeping didn’t even go into our room to clean or deliver towels etc or toilet paper. For 2 days no towels or toilet paper from the establishment. Had to buy our own. Then it was filthy and run down. Drug activity the whole entire weekend. Prostitution. Just sad. U need to update how you advertise the rundown places. The pool didn’t have one drop of water in it.

Dirty Hotel

Not what you see. Only truth is front desk staff 1st shift were amazing. We didn't blame them for how we were mislead

It is the summer and in any hotel stay I would expect to have proper cooling as well as hygiene items and neither were given when approached with the concern

Bugs in my bed- no tv. Changed rooms. Not much better.

**Hotel Review** I recently stayed at this property, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The entire hotel had an unpleasant odor that made my stay uncomfortable. Despite booking a non-smoking room, there was a pervasive smell of smoke, which was very off-putting. The room itself was in a deplorable condition. It was filthy, and it was evident that the bedsheets had not been changed prior to my arrival. This level of hygiene is unacceptable for any accommodation. Additionally, the surrounding area did not feel safe at all. There were people shouting at each other outside, which was both disturbing and concerning. One of the key reasons I chose this hotel was the promise of breakfast included with my booking. However, upon arrival, I was informed that no breakfast would be provided. This misleading information added to the overall dissatisfaction with my stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and secure place to stay.
