Holiday Inn Chicago-Oakbrook by IHG

Would not recommend. We arrived and had zero parking available because the bar inside of the hotel was packed. We were unaware a bar louie was attached. Once we checked in we were told to park at the local seafood place once they closed. After getting lucky with snagging a parking spot as a bar goer left, we got to our room and was not happy with the quality. The bathroom sink was cracked and detaching from the countertop. The toilet seat was broken and felt unsafe to sit on without it falling off or apart. The bed sheets had small stains on them as if they were not thoroughly cleaned the night before. The noise lingered from the bar and the bar goers in the parking lot right outside even though we were on one of the top floors. Overall did not love the stay. Especially for the price.

The windows were not clean and there was no waste paper basket in the room that I stayed in. The front desk staff were not very accommodating.

The a/c in the room got cool-ish but never colder and so we couldn’t sleep well because we were too warm and uncomfortable The pool, as soon as we walked in the chlorine smell was eye-watering strong! Getting in it made the skin feel slimy there was so much chlorine. Breakfast spread was decent Overall felt like a lot of minor things throughout the hotel is overlooked and money is not put in to upgrade or maintain things

I enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and quiet. I would stay here again.

Good value. Nothing fancy but nothing terrible. Stayed 6 nights. Good bang for the buck. Great location.

Very nice location and bar louie was excellent

Front desk not very helpful. Was not told by Expedia that there was a deposit necessary. I checked out over 2 weeks ago and still have not received my deposit. Called and again, front desk not helpful at all.

So so stay. Not great. Not terrible. Comfortable bed.
