The night manager went above and beyond to find us a bag for our dirty laundry.

Horrible experience. For continental breakfast we got bagels. Rooms had broken tap and tiles. Horrible experience.

I arrived for check in a little after 10pm after spending the whole day at Hersheypark. The person managing the front desk was literally cutting his son or grandson's hair AT the front desk. Talk about unprofessional. The room was sub par. The bathroom mirror was dirty, the toilet stopped working, the top lock was broke and there was no breakfast. The room was cheap but this was unacceptable.

Looked like property is for sale. Lock box on front entry. Landscaping terribly unkept. Rundown building with rotted roof in back of parking area and a broken down mower outside of entry way. No where to sit and smoke for smokers. Floor in the room was filthy and furniture was rotted. No shampoo or conditioner provided and the lights were very dim. Bed was comfortable.

When we arrived, the outside of the property was in such poor condition, it almost looked like an abandoned property. No landscaping, no grass cut, weeds everywhere, trash in the parking lot, delapidated out buildings adjacent, paint in bad shape. Lobby was dirty, couch was held up by a large can of beans for one leg. Hallways leading to room not vacuumed recently and wall paint and ceilings in poor condition. Assigned room was ajar upon arrival, as were many of the rooms. One of the locks was broken. Cold water handle broken and missing in room. Floor unvacuumed. We spent about 30 minutes in room, changed clothes, went out to eat and headed to concert venue. Concert canceled, so we checked out immediately. We spent less than 3 hours total checked into this poor excuse for a hotel and it was too much! Glad we didnt have to spend the night there!

It needs a major upgrade and renovation. Wasn’t the cleanest. Our room was by the exit door and had to hear it slam every single time people went out. The outside facility was not well taken care of and looks really shady.

No hand soap for the sink. Or shower. Toilet was disgusting. By 8 am the was no breakfast left. 1 bagel. No fruit.

The price was fine. They are clearly trying to get this hotel back into shape. MANY rooms are not even serviceable. The main things seem clean and sanitary, but the details are very sketchy. There are cords dangling everywhere. Room, lobby, breakfast area, etc. There’s running rust on too many surfaces. The night staff are not the most presentable nor industrious. Had to ask repeatably to have the “continental breakfast” restocked, like the bagels and cream cheese were gold plated items. And then they were frozen solid. There were very few drink options, which always ran out quickly, and had to be asked for again. Arugh. The AC worked great, but there were two choices, 52 degrees, or off. On an 80 degree weekend. There was no middle ground. The entry to the hotel from the Main Street appeared to be the entry to old abandoned hotel that wasn’t even functional anymore. The road seemed abandoned, the weeds, trees, and vegetation looked out of control, and to be honest, it was scary to drive down toward the hotel. Nothing welcoming or fresh at all. I’m not trying to rip this hotel, they seem to be trying to make it better, but there are some major things they need to keep working at. I wish them good luck.
