Fairfield Inn & Suites Mansfield Ontario

The Fairfield Inn & Suites in Mansfield/ Ontario Ohio is a very clean, comfortable, and ecstatically pleasing. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Overall, I just thought the price at $200 was rather high for the Mansfield area. The only criticism of the room is the bathroom light is very dim.

Friendly staff, good breakfast. I did not have any lotion or hand soap in my room but it was very clean.

This place is nasty and dirty. Needs renovation done ASAP. Will NEVER stay here again. Room smelled musty, dead squished bug and blood on mattress, pubic hair on mattress, curtains were ripped and torn with holes in them, toilet leaking water underneath all over the floor, and the desk chair was all ripped apart. The 2nd shift check-in lady acted like I was bothering her when I went to check in. She would put her head down and turn away when I wanted to ask a question. Honestly, the breakfast was pretty decent. The manager ended up refunding our entire stay due to the conditions. Would be hard to believe that our room was the only nasty room in the place. Save yourself a headache and go across the street to the TownPlace Suites by Marriott.

The facility is fine. I received an email the day before checking in to ask me to pre-register. I was informed that all I had to do was stop by the front desk for my door key. I was also told that I would receive a text message when my room was ready for me. When I arrived I had to go through the same normal procedures - show ID, present credit card, etc. No text telling me that my room was ready. Once I got to my room I received a text message ten minutes later telling me my room was ready. When I went to get some ice I found out that the only ice machine in the building was on the first floor - I was on the third.

The customer service was excellent. I was staying for business and therefore needed a no frills option and that’s exactly what the hotel provided

A bottle of shower gel that was glued to the shower wall randomly fell off in the middle of the evening. Breakfast options were really small compared to most other places we've stayed. Some random truck parked in the handicap spot that my daughter needed. Don't understand how this place was rated so highly...

Loved our stay here. staff was friendly even tho they were short handed,everything was clean and the breakfast was good and the coffee is excellent. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. I'll be back for sure.

We recently stayed at this property for the Vintage Motorcylce Days weekend at Mid Ohio. The location was optimal for a short trip to the track, as well as Ashland County Fairgrounds. There are numerous restaurants and a Meijer nearby. We also played golf at Twin Lakes and the Woods at Possum Run, both of which were enjoyable. Ontario seems to be a nice suburb of Mansfield, with rolling hills for nearby scenery. The hotel was clean and the room comfortable. There is a small indoor pool and workout room, neither of which we used on this trip. Everything seemed clean, and fairly updated. We slept well on comfortable beds, and it was very quiet although the hotel was mostly full. The only minor drawback was a very limited lukewarm breakfast (prepackaged little snacks) that did not remain stocked. It was ok for a quick bite before leaving for the day, but you may consider a nearby restaurant instead. Overall, would recommend!
