Bluegrass Extended Stay

Clean, good curtains kept the room dark, comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The manger was very nice and called me many times to confirm a room hiccup that ended up working out beautifully!

I never have any complaints about this hotel , I come from outta town and choose this hotel every year!

Good sized room. Clean comfortable beds. With fridge and microwave. Clean cupboards and drawers. Adequate heating.

Room faces parking area so we tend to keep the curtains closed most of the time. Wish there was more bright light in the room. Also, I have a bias against carpets.

It was clean and quiet

My mother & I attend a couple of UK basketball games a season. We have been staying at this location multiple times a year for almost 10 years, and this was an absolute mess. The 1st night, my mother took her medication, and later on, she found a pill in her bed. Luckily, she didn't take the medicine because IT WASN'T EVEN HERS, AND IT IS A PILL SHE IS HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO! I took it to the desk in the morning and gave it to the gentleman. After explaining all of this to him, all he had to say was, "Thanks, we'll look into it." We proceeded to leave and go to some of the places we enjoy throughout Lexington. We returned to get ready for the game, and we heard an odd scraping noise and then thumping. I went outside to find a man working on the room directly above us (room 206). Then we heard 2 men getting into an argument in that room, and then it was quiet. We go to the game, enjoy it, come back, and go to bed. The next morning at about 8:15 (we decided to sleep in until 9:00) BAM..BAM, the guy is back working on the room above us again! We had enough of this place, packed, and I went to turn in the key card. They do have the nicest little old lady that works for them, and I tried to explain all of the problems we had, but she didn't understand, and I didn't want to take my frustration out on her. A couple of days later, I called to voice my complaints, and the gentleman on the phone could not have cared less. I told him what had gone on, and all he could say was, "Uh huh." I finally got fed up with him and said, "I don't know when, or if we'll be back!" He said 'Good" and hung up. To top it all off, a day or two after we got home, my mother had bug bites ( I did see that there were a couple of spiders in the room. ) I am very disappointed in the whole experience.

People were fabulous, location for what we were there for, was great and plenty of food options. Outlets were a bit off so nothing we plugged in would stay in the outlets and pillows weren’t the best, but I’d go back and stay again.
