Clean, friendly

If you need somewhere to stay for one night, it will get the job done. no frills, nothing extra. It's a room to sleep in. They were doing renovations so there were some things not available like a room phone which is not a huge deal. One door you could go out of but not back in. The room just felt wet which was unpleasant. Not recommended for more than one night.

Outside was dingy. Mold around windows. Paint peeling. Inside carpets in hallways had spots. Doors were scuffed. Room had water spots on ceiling and wallpaper peeling. Bathroom door was in bad condition. Front door had problems shutting due to carpet. Told front desk person that this was substandard and he said "Why?"

The Location

The room smelled like dog, I am very sensitive to that smell, I kept coughing and felt sick by the time we left. This Hotel used to be a favorite of our,s but we won,t be staying here again.

Everything was very clean.

The carpet was badly stained and worn. The doors and decor were very dated.

The bed linens were light, airy, comfy and cozy. Carpeting in room needs replacing. The place was quiet and a bit secluded from all the other areas of activity in this town which made for a peaceful night's sleep which is really all I was looking for. Staff was very curteous and offered to carry bags to room if I needed it. Pet friendly which was important as I have a 12 lb. dog in tow.

Terrible room - frig was banging throughout the night - on & off. Carpet is dirty, bed is saggy sheets are 100%! Poly

They are doing renovations right now, but we didn't notice any noise !! Very friendly front desk person.
