Hilton Durham near Duke University

Awesome experience across the board. The receptionist was extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly which for me gave a very good first impression! Rooms were clean and breakfast was very good. The cost of our room was surprisingly affordable. We were very pleased with our experience.

Lobby nice. Room was comfortable

Charged 8.00 to park in a normal parking lot. I placed reservation over month in advance and king wasn’t available. Room key didn’t work and I’m on oxygen. Desk clerk did come up. Took 2 clerks to explain why my wi-fi wasn’t working

Clean and comfortable and a good location next to the interstate and close to a Cracker Barrel

Hilton is generally not a good value . Most properties, including this one have rooms that are no better than Hampton Inn, $3.00 for a bottle of water in your room, $20 per person for a so so breakfast. Hampton is a better bargain. Add in $8.00 for parking in a suburban non valet parking lot that they refer to as a “nominal” charge. I made this stay because the rate on Booking.com was $20 cheaper than the best rate on the Hilton site.
