El Rincón de Rascafría

Great location. Big room, clean linen, comfy bed, aircon. Good shower. Private parking. Beautiful building. Entry remote so no contact with staff although available by phone etc. Confusion over communication, Booking, email and WhatsApp, just use one.

Older decoration really needs some refurbishment and a deep clean. Bathroom in particular needs some items repaired Lady serving breakfast was a last minute stand in due to illness. Not fair as she really needed some help and wasn't coping. So we left without breakfast. Cost refunded when we eventually paid. This could be a stunning place to stay but needs some care and attention.

Location was easy to reach, city center, breakfast was okish and the room were large and with windows. Very comfy bed. Powerful WiFi connection

Old furniture, old bathroom: the entire room needed refurbishment although quite spacious. Breakfast with little options but good. No parking available in the building just public parking

The entrance was lovely and the room was large.

The hotel is difficult to find. Once we had found it and located the front door, it was locked. We had been told we could check in from 2pm. It was a little after 2 pm, but there was no one there. I telephoned, and the front door was released remotely, we were told our room number and that the key would be in the room. I then received a text with info about WiFi and breakfast etc. After a long journey from the UK and a 5-hour drive that morning, that was not very welcoming.... .

Great location, beautiful room, large and cosy bed. The view from our room was great, could have breakfast in front of the window/balcony!

Lovely little boutique hotel, everything was fine, good instructions about checking in and parking before arrival, nice spacious room, good breakfast and friendly staff. The little village is very nice and locals friendly. Nice walk to the monastery and picturesque mountain area. Staff was very kind and provided earlier breakfast on our departure day.
