Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Portland Airport

Bus ride to airport for flights and/or train (to city) was convenient. Comfortable bed.

Not the best breakfast - cooked items a bit dry/tough. No cooked options for vegetarians. Coffee ran out both mornings and was not routinely checked by staff - but they were pleasant, responsive and thankful when I pointed out it needed replacing. Check in was drawn out because reception had a problem getting the system to accept my updated-expiry-date Amex card (I had reserved the room using the pre-update card). I had to do multiple transactions (including providing my driver's license 3 or 4 times) and eventually was told I'd be called down later to complete the process - then it suddenly worked to the receptionists surprise. We were tired from travel at the time so this was unfortunate.

Location was good, however, very noisy.

We loved our stay. Comfortable room with nice, modern shower. Beds and pillows were excellent. Staff was awesome, especially Josh who helped with our bags and parking. He offered us options to the $35 a day valet parking and other helpful suggestions.

My stay was very good. Alex was very courteous helpful ,and pleasant. He checked us in and told us that if we need anything please feel free to ask.

Very nice. Airport shuttle was promp. Front desk and shuttle driver, all great customer service.

Would have liked a pool for the grandkids.

Flew in late after traveling cross country with a toddler and this place was great! We were exhausted and called for the shuttle which arrived within five minutes. Andrew was super nice and personable, very professional service! Melissa at the front desk was fantastic in getting us quickly checked into our super clean room. My car was here for the park and stay and was safe with no break ins. Great place. Would stay here again. Also affordable.

Clean; good location near airport w breakfast.

Patrons in surrounding rooms were noisy- no insulation between rooms and floor above . Hard to sleep.
