Studio 8 on Waterson

This studio was in a great location! Walking distance to all the restaurants shopping and lagoon. The studio itself had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, lovely balcony with seaview, and everything was really clean. We happened to meet the owner during our stay who was absolutely lovely and wanted to make sure everything was OK and if we needed anything else during our stay. It was our first stay in Airlie and we will definitely be coming back.

WALKING AND LOCATION EASY

The location was good and the room was comfortable.

It would have been nice to be told there was 50 steps to room from carpark. Also the shower screen has a big build up of soap scum and the bathroom vanity didn't drain very good, when we unscrewed the plug there was 4 very rusty bobby pins stuck with lots of hair and muck.

The PowerPoints on the walls were not working properly

- great location, 5-10 mins walk from the main street - view from the balcony - comfy bed - great facilities to start off our trip with. - the apartment was as advertised in terms of layout and facilities.

- Stayed in 8B, you can hear the neighbours in 8A when they are in their room, and on their balcony. Their smoking wafted in and meant that we couldn't sit on the balcony or have the door open. - laundry/shared entry way had a significant odour! - Woken every night between 11.30-12ish by neighbours in 8A, and woken twice by construction at 7am. The construction was so loud we couldn't even sit by the pool and had to leave the premises for a break from the noise. - The TV has limited channels available/quite old. - Lots of stairs! 2-3 flights, although it was fine to walk these multiple times, it was quite difficult with suitcases.
